Requirements:

Reside in Compeer Financial’s 144-county territory

Have started farming no longer than 10 years ago

Demonstrate that farming is the applicant’s part-time or full-time vocation

Amount: $500 - $45,000; 50%Cost-Share

Requirements:

Individual producers, producer groups, and local government units are eligible to apply

Eligible equipment purchases must advance soil health in Minnesota

Amount: up to $15,000

Requirements:

Individual (LLCs, partnerships, etc. must apply and buy farm as individual)

Minnesota resident

Earn less than $250,000 annually in gross agricultural sales

Applicants and their spouses have never owned a farm

Cannot buy farm from family member (new)

Will provide the majority of labor and management on the farm

Will farm the land for at least 5 years
